Sundays

Prenatal Yoga with Davis Mama Yoga - 6:15pm-7:30pm
Prenatal yoga helps you connect with your body, your baby, and other pregnant women in safe, simple and effective exercises designed to strengthen and relax your rapidly changing body, preparing you for a conscious childbirth. Come share with other women in community, as you strengthen your body, relax your mind, and trust in your own power and strength. All women at any stage in their pregnancy are welcome.

Yoga for Everyday Living - 10:00am-11:15am September 11 to December 21, 2017 (NO class October 9, November 20 or 22).
With a therapeutic touch, this class offers gentle, slow movement bringing mindful awareness to asana as we stretch and strengthen the body and calm the mind. We learn to recognize and reduce chronic stress and distraction by observing and transforming our mental and physical habits. Should accommodations be necessary, adaptations and modifications to poses will be offered to students in this wonderful opportunity of self discovery. What is learned on the mat can then be taken into the world to affect your everyday life. No prior yoga experience is necessary as both beginning and experienced students are welcome. Students may attend class once or twice per week and begin attending class anytime during the ongoing session.

Qigong for Organ Health - 5:00pm-6:00pm 10 Week Session begins March 27.
Practices to cleanse and nourish the qi of the major organs. Class will also cover Chinese Medicine's understanding of the links between organs and emotions. Great for stress reduction, health maintenance and improvement,and mind/body/spirit harmony. Provides a good intro to some of the major principles of Chinese Medicine.

Primordial/Wuji Qigong - 6:00pm-7:00pm 10 Week Session begins March 27.
From Wudang, the sacred Taoist mountain, this lovely form is attributed to the monk who is said to have invented tai chi. The form addresses the energies of the four directions to cleanse and replenish the body, mind and spirit. Originally sed as a spiritual practice, now used for physical health and healing as well.
Session fee is $150; drop-in is $18 per class.

Slow Flow Yoga - 7:15pm-8:45pm
Based in the Vinyasa style, this class utilizes an even and steady breath to support fluidity in movement as well as focused exploration in held poses. Poses are sequenced to gradually open specific areas of the body to allow energy flow and to build toward deeper variations of a focus pose. Classes will include pranayama (breath practices), sun salutations, and inversions. Some yoga experience is helpful but not required. This class is on-going on a drop in basis.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction - 7:15pm-9:15pm 9 Week Sessions
This program is designed to help participants heal by entering into a new relationship with, essentially, the present moment. MBSR offers a powerful, intensive, integrative approach for tapping into and mobilizing innate inner resources for healing and well being. Participants can develop a life-affirming approach to living with many stress-influenced conditions such as anxiety, anger, depression, headaches, high blood pressure, sleep disturbances, and gastrointestinal problems. It is the practice of cultivating non-judgemental awareness in day-to-day life.
Tuition is $360 and includes meditation CDs for home practice, a workbook, and a day long retreat on a weekend.

Gentle Yoga - 5:30pm-6:45pm
Whether caring for an injury or condition, or if you simply prefer a gentler (though no less subtle) approach to yoga, this class supports all students. Poses will work to build strength, flexibility and balance with specific variations and modifications given to accommodate each body. Breath work will be practiced to increase awareness and calm. This class is on-going on a drop in basis.

Vinyasa Yoga - 7:00pm-8:30pm
This class seeks to bring body and mind together through the breath and fluid movement. This class utilizes deliberate sequencing, pranayama (breath work), and mindful movement through variations of sun salutation in order to open and prepare the body for peak poses (e.g. inversions, arm balances, backbends). Because this class maintains a steady pace, some knowledge of basic yoga poses is strongly encouraged. Prior vinyasa experience is not necessary, but knowledge of sun salutation is helpful. This class is on-going on a drop in basis.

This Basics level class is a complete yoga practice that is foundational to all other TriYoga levels. TriYoga Basics combines flow like movement, rhythmical breath, and gentle postures that lead to a peaceful contented feeling. Practice at your own pace and recognize that the goal of yoga isn’t to attain a perfect pose, but to develop steady, relaxed and comfortable postures and a rhythmical breath that lead to a peaceful contented feeling.

Dance Movement Therapy for Patients and Survivors of Cancer - 9:30am-11:00am 12 Week Sessions
This 12-week program will use dance movement therapy and imagery as a means to enhance the healing process and build a supportive community.  It will provide support, relaxation and insights to its participants. The goals are to enhance wellness through improved body image, energy level and sense of self.

Continuing Yoga Supporting Personal Practice - 12:00pm-2:00pm
This class is meant for ongoing students of yoga and to serve as a support for their home practice. Class includes asana, pranayama, meditation and sutra study (both Patanjali's and the Vijnana Bhairava). In class, we focus on coordination of breath, movement and awareness; the cultivation of felt awareness within the body and safe, gentle, therapeutic ways to move; training the mind to settle and concentrate; and gaining a felt sense one’s own depth of being and wisdom.

Beginning Yoga - 5:30pm-7:00pm Classes are ongoing.
This is a gentle class appropriate for beginners or continuing students who wish to undo tension and develop strength and flexibility. A typical class includes gentle warm-ups, core strengtheners, and basic poses. The focus will be on alignment, relaxation, and breath-work. We will explore the centering, calming, and healing power of the breath and of the way yoga quiets the turnings of the mind.

It can help you prevent injuries and a regular daily practice can be tool to help heal the body, mind and spirit. Practice at your own pace and recognize that the goal of yoga isn't to attain a perfect pose, but to develop steady, relaxed and comfortable postures and a rjythmical breath that lead to a peaceful contented feeling. In this yoga flow class, particpants will experience relaxation in action, union of body and breath, wave-like movements of the spine, economy of movement, expansion in all directions and a feeling of peacefulness.
